A bell ringing
Childhood days were fabulous,
Free of worries and anonymous.
Fight and let-go was easy peasy,
Just katti and batti would solve the things fishy.
Sharing was the mantra taught,
Please and sorry were easy to opt.
One beautiful memory of childhood include,
'A bell ringing ' on a cart by a cool dude.
The ice-cream waala bhaiya was our saviour,
From scrotching heat and sweet delight ever.
The sound of bell would make us rush to the balcony,
Mumma just one mango bar I want for 10 penny.
A get together of happy faces with satisfaction,
Mine is yummy then yours is all time action.
The thankful gesture of the ice cream waala bhaiya was,
Ringing the bell while leaving, with a pause.
We would run behind his cart,
Till he was at the end of our mart.
He would have a big smile and continue the tring-tring of the bell,
Yaaaaaayyyyy was the rhythm till our breathe swell.
A bell ringing, a moment to excite,
Throughout childhood in one site.
