What do you do when you accidentally put excess salt in your food or you don't have cream at home?? 

Our Pink Chefs have got you some excellent cooking tops

1. Debashree Basak

After handling garlic, rub your fingers on stainless steel, like your sink, to get rid of the odor.

2. Mrinalini Kakkar

To compensate or subside the excess of spices

- Add small amount of fat or cream.

- Add pinch of sugar or small amount of honey.

- Also you can increase the amount of tarka and mix well.

3. Mrinalini Agarkhed

Add sugar and lemon juice to subside excess salt and spice.

4. Nisha Tandon

When no khoya or fresh cream in the house, add a couple of tablespoons of milkpowder to the dishes to add creaminess. 

5. Pooja Gupta

Add a piece of bread or mashed potato in the vegetable. It absorbs excess salt!

6. Sudha Hunnur

For excess of chilly powder or spices in vegetables I add mashed potatoes or Tomato puree in it.
