Where is Rajpal Yadav ?
Among various emotions of acting, comedy has been considered as the most difficult. There is a saying it’s quite easy make someone cry but the hardest part is to make one smile. However some actors do this arduous task like a cake walk and they have been doing it for a long time.
Talented Rajpal Yadav is one of them. His honest face combined with his perfect timing makes him stand out from others. He passed out from Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow in 1994 and moved to National School of Drama in Delhi. After reaching Mumbai in 1997 he started his career in Doordarshan’s television serial Mungeri ke bhai Naurangilal, a sequel to a similar television program on Doordarshan, Mungeri lal ke haseen sapne as the protagonist.
Contradictory to People believe and his non-villain physique, Rajpal found success in negative roles. For the film Jungle, he won the Sansui Screen Best actor award in a Negative Role along with a nomination for the Screen Best Actor award. He also played main antagonist in controversial filmmaker Faisal Saif’s multilingual film Amma. Rajpal remained inclined towards comic roles and he went on to become one of the most sought after comic actor Bollywood. Some of his movies are Hungama, Waqt: The Race Against Time, Chup Chup Ke, Garam Masala, Phir Hera Pheri and Dhol.
He got chance to reveal his potential as protagonist in Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Ladies Tailor, Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama, Hello! Hum Lallan Bol Rahe Hain, Kushti, Mirch, Benny and Babloo and Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh. He was awarded the Yash Bharati Award for the film Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon. His carrier hit the dead end with a court sentencing him for an imprisonment of 3 months in 2018 for the non-payment of a loan that he took for his movie.
Latest news inform that Rajpal Yadav has joined the case of Coolie No.1 and is also gearing up for some projects. A talented actor like him is always sought by audience. We still believe despite going through such an ordeal Rajpal will make all of us to forget our pain and just LAUGH.
