Kamala Harris - picking women for top positions

Kamala Harris  the vice president-elect of the United States. She is the first female, the first non-white candidate and first Asian-American vice-president.

During her first speech after the US presidential election victory she said about her mother, “When she came here from India at the age of 19. She may not have quite imagined this moment. But she believed so deeply in America, where a moment like this is possible. And so I'm thinking about her,” she said.

Harris, further said that her victory was just a beginning for women across the country,“While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last—because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities,”.

Harris is now again making the headlines by making historic announcements of cabinet positions. Top three positions in here office will be held by women.
 
Its going to happen very first time that the top positions in the office of the vice president will be held by women.
 
Kamala Harris selected Tina Flournoy; African American, to lead her vice presidential office. Flournoy has served as chief of staff to President Clinton. She will lead office whose hires to date are all female and mostly women of color.

Rohini Kosoglu of South Asian descent, a former chief of staff in Harris’ Senate office, will serve as her domestic policy advisor.

Nancy McEldowney, a former U.S. ambassador to Bulgaria and 30-year U.S. Foreign Service veteran, will be national security advisor.

Symone Sanders will serve as press secretary and Ashley Etienne will be serving Harris as chief spokesperson. Both the women officials are black.

This is how Kamala Harris is making history and glorifying women.
