Rise and Fall

Rise and Fall

Some rise to fall, some fall to rise,

And, that's autumnal fall is all about,

Like the summer sun, some burn with their avarice,

Out of greed and lust, they climb the ladder of success,

But soon, the happy state crashes down,

Bringing showers of regret through the eyes,

Often a deluge and devastating,

Then, the fall is bound to happen.

Again, some fall down due to treachery or foolishness,

Some lose their jobs like in pandemic,

But, through their resilient spirit,

Rise from their fall, to a new beginning,

Thus, the kaleidoscopic fall bestows grace abundant,

Those keeping themselves open to everything,

Lose their bitterness and dampness,

And, embrace colours of joy and light,

For those who lose their ego and anguish,

Gain bountiful new directions and miracles,

A season of humility and gratitude,

Lessons of life imparted well by the auburn leaves,

Crunchy underneath the feet,

The earthly colours and mystic smell,

Preserves the persistent soul,

Defying oddities, searching for different identities,

And, willing to embrace the change of fate,

And refresh their lives for dreams to soar high.
